DEADLINE for regular grant applications are Friday, September 29th, 2:00 p.m. please ensure you submit your request before then for the Fall '06 semester. Deadline for activity grants for this semester has now expired.

This packet and the corresponding procedure was designed to minimize paper work and expedite appropriate processing of all grant requests through ASGC, Inc., the College, and the District.

The ASGC, Inc. Board of Directors serves all registered students of Grossmont College through the funding of programs, projects, and various student services campus-wide with ASGC, Inc. grants. Through this process, we hope to serve the majority of students in a fair and equitable manner.

Help us help you. Please answer all questions, provide necessary explanations and attach all appropriate documentation prior to the application deadline. Incomplete applications may be removed from the grant process; however, it may be resubmitted in a future grant period. We will attempt to notify you if an application is removed.

ASGC, Inc. does not accept grant requests for 299 courses, individuals, or reimbursement for activities or events that occur prior to grant approval.

ASGC, Inc. Activity/Event grant requests (grants dealing with activities or events held after the 9th week of the current semester, not purchases) will be considered, prioritized, and voted-on by the 9th week of each semester. All Regular grant requests will be considered, prioritized, and voted-on by the 13th week of the semester.

Once the ASGC, Inc. Board has heard all the requests, prioritized these requests, and made its final vote, you will be notified, in writing, of your request’s approval or denial. If approved, you will be directed to the ASGC, Inc. Account Technician for the processing of your request. Requests that do not receive funding may be resubmitted in a subsequent semester. Minutes of the ASGC, Inc. Finance and Board meetings are available approximately one week after each meeting.
