Spring Semester 2010
Please submit the following items to Student Affairs:
- Charter Application & Membership Roster: Due by 4:00pm on February 17, 2009
- Club Account Information: Due by 4:00pm on February 23, 2009
The following may be regarded as a basic checklist for completeing the charter and/or re-chartering process.
- Complete the chartering packet.
- Establish an advisor (section 1.4 of the ICC Manual) from the Grossmont faculty or staff.
- Arrange a room for your meetings with the Instruction Operations Office in the Administrative Quad (next to the Financial Aid Office). Don’t forget about the Club’s room! All clubs must have a meeting room on campus along with date and time of any regular meetings on their completed charter.
- All members names must be printed clearly on the charter with their phone number and colleague ID number. A minimum of ten currently enrolled students is required.
- To qualify for ICC event funding, 2/3 of all members or a minimum of 17 members shown on the charter must have the current semester’s ASGC, Inc. Benefit Card at the time of the submitted ICC Event Grant Proposal.
- Be sure all areas are completely filled out and signed by everyone approved to withdraw funds. Any blank spaces will be considered “incomplete” and no benefit will be given that semester.
- All new and amended constitutions must be attached to the membership roster at the time of submission. These will be reviewed by the Clubs Committee for content and constitutionality.
- Inter-Club Council meetings are mandatory and club charters may be suspended or revoked for repeated absences.
